Article Writing Technique
Do you want to "speed" up your article writing process? Does it take you between 1 and 2 hours to write 500 words of an article? This article is for you if you answered yes.
It used to be difficult for me to write articles. I used to take hours, or even days, to write a guest blog for one of my clients. After years of reflection, that has all changed. I have learned a writing technique that makes writing easier without compromising quality.
Only after years of writing have I been able flesh out the techniques that make it work.
You can write faster by following these tips
Do Not Edit While Writing
When you write, editing can block your creativity. This cuts off your flow of thought, causing you stop and forget what or how to write next. You subconsciously put a limiter in your mind when you edit. It says "you have to be careful with what you write so that you don't need to edit much". This limiter stops you from being able to be creative.
It may denounce some of your ideas or suggestions that you had in mind, simply because writing them might have been a mistake. It's up to you to decide if it was a mistake or not to write the idea or to include it later, when editing. You only have to write one thing at this stage.
Use the "Write like there's no tomorrow" mentality
It is a mindset that will make you write faster. You may ask why. You're simply putting yourself under a level of pressure that is safe to finish the article you are writing. You may procrastinate or, worse yet, decide to not complete your writing task if you don't apply a certain amount of pressure. You'll want to write more articles today because tomorrow won't exist.
Ask a lot questions
Start by asking when, where and what questions. You'll benefit from this because your ideas will begin to come up once you start asking these questions. Continue writing once the ideas begin to flow (remember, DO NOT EDIT). After you've reached the length you want, you can edit your article to ensure it is coherent and has no grammar or spelling mistakes.
These tips will allow you to finish many articles in a short time. You'll probably agree that the more you produce, the more you earn.
Ghost writers and freelance writers are especially affected by this. Profit is directly proportional with their productivity.
